Abstract

In this article the author makes the analysis of development the basic ideas and concepts of the category "human rights" in historical and legal aspects. The author studies the evolution of relation of the state and society to the human rights in the basic historical epochs of humanity, starting from the origin of studies about human rights in Ancient Greece and until nowadays. The article compares the quantitative increase of different recognised human rights and their qualitative filling with the new meaning during centuries of humanity history. The author praises the realization of this concept in the international law, its fulfilment in the majority of the civilized countries of the world.
