Information support of special police activities

Abstract

The analysis of information support of special police activities has been carried out. It has been proven that the information support of forces of law and order protection is a topical problem not only for Ukraine, but also for many other foreign countries where they pay significant attention to data ware of special police activities creating and using. It is allocated the regularity of increasing demand for improvement of service and combat training for institutions of internal Affairs of Ukraine, especially vocational staff training optimization, system changes in legal control realization, and also application of data ware of special police activities experience in updating conditions of all systems of public service in Ukraine.

In the context of analyze absence of such term as «special police» has been established, that allows to admit definition for all police activities as special. Functions of special service, special purpose units’ activity are analyze.

The instructions for special purpose units are generalized. It is allocated: intelligence service, subversive activity, counterintelligence service, ant subversive activity, antiterrorist activity, search, capture (arrest) or destruction of terrorists, hostage’s release, civil security guarantee, especially important persons or especially important objects protection.

Instructions for improvement in information support of special police activities: data ware uniform policy introducing; multi-purpose information subsystem creating, organizational and personnel guarantee for information units improving, integration and systematization of information registrations at all levels, information network expansion, creation of conditions for effective information registrations functioning, their completeness, reliability, urgency and safety providing, re-equipment of information sub-unit, further information registrations computerizing, interaction with population in development of effective method of such providing; new forms and methods of data ware introducing have been established.
