Abstract

The article identifies the problematic issues related to the activities of the police, and also presents an analysis of some internal legal provisions on the topic of the fight against corruption, which is one of the mechanisms to combat corruption in the police. Corruption, especially of a police officer, is an extremely desirable phenomenon. Crimes committed by police officers provoke a heightened public reaction. Today, special attention is paid to the so-called "lack of a sense of security" among the population. Due to corruption and abuse of police officers, society loses confidence in state institutions. If these bodies are not completely reliable guardian of the law in force, as well as a source of exemplary behavior and legality, then it is impossible to expect from the population that it will not commit unlawful acts.
